US Marine in western Iraq Presented by Jeremy Paxman

US soldiers

We have a powerful film this evening. We follow a group of former US soldiers who have returned from Iraq deeply affected by the experience.

As they march across America to protest against the war they reveal their own experiences of the conflict, make some disturbing allegations about military practices in Iraq and reflect on how it feels to come home.

We'll discuss some of the issues raised with the former Judge Advocate General for the US Army who is also a decorated combat veteran.

Corruption

The loans for peerages saga has taken a new twist - police looking into complaints about undisclosed loans to the Labour party say their investigation may be widened to consider allegations of corruption.

Our Political Editor, Martha Kearney, looks at what the charges might be.

Livingstone

"Like some chiselling little crook" - that is how the mayor of Britain's biggest city described the actions of the official representative of our closest ally. And it's not Ken Livingstone's first controversial outburst.

Is this appropriate behaviour from the Mayor of London or is it time Tony Blair brought this elected Labour representative into line?

All that and more at 10.30pm, BBC TWO.
