The battle for memory

The Lithuanian general prosecutor is currently seeking to question a number of Jewish survivors of the World War II over war crimes allegations.

In this Crossing Continents, Tim Whewell examines why competing memories of the war are being used as political ammunition in Lithuania and other East European countries even after they have become stable democracies.
