If you bought a computer a few years back, any device that you wanted to plug in - printer, keyboard, etc - would come with its own connector.

Cameras, keyboards, mice, hard drives - they are all plugging into your PC through USB.

Our tech man Rob Freeman explains why USB looks dangerously like a standard, and found some of the odder USB devices on the market.
