Chris DeWolfe

Social networking online is not new. The craze started almost a decade ago with one site's simple idea to bring long lost classmates back together.

If you are thinking Friends Reunited, you are wrong. It was Classmates.com.

Today there are hundreds of social networking sites with millions of members from all around the world, of all different backgrounds and ages, creating their very own virtual communities.

But if there is one site that has changed the way we look at social networking, it is MySpace. It has over 100 million members, and counting, and it is the 6th most popular site on the web.
