Graham Satchell

Graham Satchell

Graham's worked for the BBC since the early 1990's and joined Breakfast as a reporter in 2001.

Since then he has covered stories all over the British Isles from Orkney to Guernsey and all over the world from America to Afghanistan, Finland to Iraq.

"It's been a great time on the programme. What's been most liberating for me is being able to do a few longer reports - to escape the straight news format."

Graham started his career in Jersey in the Channel Islands before moving to the BBC News channel as a reporter via the BBC's regional news programme in the South West.

He was born in Jarrow in the North East of England, has a degree in English and Philosophy and an MA in a fantastically useful subject: "Tragedy in the Age of Shakespeare"
