Sharon scan reveals no progress

Ariel Sharon A brain scan on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has revealed that there has been no change in his condition.

Mr Sharon has been in a coma since 4 January, when he suffered a severe stroke and underwent surgery.

The spokesman for the Hadassa hospital in Jerusalem, Ron Krumer, said Mr Sharon's condition was "still serious but stable".

The CT (computerised tomography) scan aimed to assess the swelling and bleeding in his brain.
