Israeli army bulldozers, supported by tanks and helicopter gunships, made a brief incursion into the Gaza Strip overnight to demolish the home of a suspected Islamic militant.
Israeli officials said the home, in a Palestinian refugee camp in Deir al-Balah, was that of Mohammed Abu Huli, a Hamas leader accused of planning a number of anti-Israeli attacks.
They said several mortar shells were found in the property, and three Palestinians were arrested.
On Monday, an eight-year old Palestinian boy was killed during a clash between stone-throwers and Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
