Bomb blast on Israeli bus

Breaking News
An explosion aboard a bus in Israel has left at least three people dead, Israeli public radio has reported.

The bus was travelling on a motorway near the northern Israeli town of Hadera when the blast occurred, witnesses said.

A man who was driving along the same route told the radio station that he heard "enormous explosion".

He said a "bomb apparently blew up inside the vehicle."

At least six other people are reported to have been wounded in the blast, which completely destroyed the bus.

Army officials said it was not clear whether the explosion was the result of a device planted on the bus or whether a suicide bomber had been involved.
