In pictures: Deadly Iraq bombings

More than 30 people have been killed and at least 60 injured in a double suicide bombing in Talafar, near Mosul, in northern Iraq. The target was said to be the home of an anti-terrorism officer but damage was widespread.

One suicide attacker detonated an explosives vest outside a house. A second suicide bombing followed as rescuers responded to the first blast.

In Sadr City, Baghdad, at least seven people were killed and 20 wounded by two explosions in a market.

Police said the bombs had been hidden in piles of rubbish. Explosives experts are reported to have defused a third bomb in the area.

Another person was killed and at least five others injured in a roadside bomb attack in the Karrada district of central Baghdad.

Also in Baghdad, a bomb hidden in a bicycle left at a market in a predominantly Shia area injured two people and damaged nearby shops.
