Buffalo in the snow

It cannot be a common sight to see a herd of buffalo running around a snow-covered field. But Sue McGrane and her husband stumbled upon this unlikely scene during a recent walk around Corwen.

What a view to wake up to. Rhiannon Williams sent us this picture taken at around 8am from a fifth floor flat looking out over the River Taff and Cardiff Bay with Penarth in the distance.

Bad weather

Catrin Jackson from Nant Ffrancon near Bethesda braved the freezing conditions to take a picture of an isolated Tryfan in Snowdonia. She said: "Not many walkers here!"

Snowdrops

But the snow has not covered all parts of Wales. John Franco sent in this picture of snowdrops outside his front door in Gwalchmai, Anglesey. He said it is to remind everyone that "spring is on the way".
