Ulrika Jonsson shot to fame as the weather presenter on TV-am, and hosted a string of shows including Gladiators. The 41-year-old doesn't think she will be a leader in the Big Brother House.

Grammy Award-winning US rapper Coolio is best known for his chart-topping hit Gangsta's Paradise. He has spent time in prison which he thinks will stand him in good stead for the Big Brother house.

Mutya Buena

Singer Mutya Buena was an original member of the Sugababes and quit in 2005 for motherhood and to forge a solo career. She says she will miss her phone and iPod in the house.

Verne Troyer
4 of 11
Hollywood actor Verne Troyer played Mini Me in the Austin Power movies. At 2ft 8in (81 cm) he is one of the world's smallest men. He says Big Brother will be like school camp.

Ben Adams
5 of 11
Singer Ben Adams was a member of boy band a1, who scored a string of hit singles and albums. The 27-year-old says his worst point is being unable to cook.

La Toya Jackson
6 of 11
La Toya Jackson, 52, is a member of the famous musical clan and sister to Michael. She claims to have lived a sheltered life and hopes Big Brother will change this.

Tommy Sheridan
7 of 11
Scottish politician Tommy Sheridan won a libel action against the News of The World. The 44-year-old was subsequently charged with perjury. He is friends with ex-contestant George Galloway.

Michelle Heaton
8 of 11
Michelle Heaton found fame on Popstars: The Rivals and was a member of pop group Liberty X. She says she can't live without Facebook.

Terry Christian
9 of 11
Presenter Terry Christian found fame in the 1990s as host of controversial Channel 4 show The Word. The Mancunian aims to fill the "loveable older brother" role in the house.

Lucy Pinder
10 of 11
Lucy Pinder, 23, is a glamour model from Bournemouth. She regards appearing on Celebrity Big Brother as a "lifetime opportunity".

Tina Malone
11 of 11
Actress Tina Malone is best known for playing Mimi Maguire in Shameless. The Liverpudlian says being in the house will make her "more diplomatic and tolerant".
