And while her husband toured the forest, Camilla attended a "From Scotland with Love" event in Tokyo.

Camilla visited a Tokyo hospital where the children were given dogs to play with. The Royal couple also took in the Todaiji Temple, an important centre for Buddhism, during their visit to Japan.

Next stop, Brunei. The royal couple spent the day with Gurkha soldiers at the British base in Seria.

Despite their packed itinerary in Brunei, the royal couple managed to squeeze in a bit of shopping. The Duchess of Cornwall returned home after Brunei, while the Prince carried on to Indonesia.

It is a cause close to his heart, and climate change was at the centre of this tour. Prince Charles planted trees at several rainforest conservation projects.
