Slaves To Gravity won the best British newcomer trophy.

Slipknot

Slipknot collected the Kerrang! Icon award. The band have pulled out of this weekend's Reading and Leeds festival after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle.

Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold picked up best album for their self-titled fourth album.

Member of Turisas

Finnish band Turisas turned up to the awards ceremony, which was given the theme Garden of Unearthly Delights.

Biffy Clyro
10 of 10
Biffy Clyro were nominated in the best British band category, but went home empty-handed.
