The four-day event at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire celebrates the best of British farming. It also hosts unusual displays, from dancing diggers to the White Helmet Motorcycle team to entertain crowds.

The show was held over a weekend for the first time in its history. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were among those looking at livestock, which included Boris, a Shetland lamb.

All sorts of animals can be found in the livestock displays including all breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry and these beautiful alpacas.

Grooming the show animals can take longer than getting ready to go out. Special areas are set aside so animal competitors can get ready and look their best.

As well as livestock displays visitors can also enjoy wandering around food produce and watching cookery demonstrations. Here television chef Rachel Green cooks up some Lincolnshire meat.

This year, blue tongue restrictions have meant the number of livestock at the event is less than usual. But, organisers expect 140,000 people to have visited the showground by the end of the four days.
