Police estimate up to 3,000 bikers from across Europe gathered for the funeral of Gerry Tobin, from Mottingham, south-east London, who was shot dead on 12 August.

Hells Angel Gerry Tobin was killed on the M40 as he was leaving The Bulldog Bash annual motorcycle gathering near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.

The Hells Angels drove a 13-mile route from their London clubhouse in Dawson Street, east London.

An elaborate funeral cortege drove from east London, along Victoria Embankment, and then over the Thames to a crematorium in south-west London.

Roads were closed on an ad hoc basis because of the sheer numbers of bikers who turned up to pay their respects.

Three men, Simon Turner, 40, Dane Garside, 41, and Sean Creighton, 43, have been charged with Mr Tobin's murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
