Dozens of people have died after a crowded pleasure boat capsized off the coast of Bahrain. As the injured were taken to hospital, rescue workers recovered the bodies of victims.

Meanwhile, many Bahrainis continued the grim search for bodies through the small hours of the night.

Meanwhile divers continued to search the wreckage which teams had hauled near to the shore.

A cooler was among the items recovered from the wreckage of the dhow, which capsized during an evening dinner cruise.
