The organisers of a Jersey music event are to ban festival-goers from bringing in bottles of water to help prevent alcohol being smuggled onto the site.
Jersey Live's directors said they have implemented the ban because they need to monitor the amount of alcohol consumed at the festival in September.
Last year saw 10 people arrested at the event, including some for drunkeness.
Festival organisers Warren Holt and Warren Holt Le Sueur said that free bottles of water would be offered.
Thousands of people are expected to attend this year's bash at the Royal Jersey Showground which will be headlined by Basement Jaxx and The Kooks.
