New skateboard park takes shape
Work has started on the skateboard park in Jersey.
After years of discussion, permission to build a skate park at the old TNT site on the New North Quay in St Helier was given in August.
Ground work has been carried out and it is hoped that the skate park will open in December.
The facility will not be covered from the elements and will not include a cement bowl, but will include a metal-framed ramp.
