Jersey 14th in financial league
Jersey has been promoted in a table of finance centres around the world.
Jersey is now 14th, up from 16th and two places ahead of Guernsey in the Global Finance Centres Index.
The index, launched by the City of London Corporation, is a measure of how well finance centres are performing and how competitive they are.
Jeff Cook, from Jersey Finance, the trade body for the island's financial industry, said it should give private investors more confidence in Jersey.
