Marshals to patrol town taxi rank
Taxi marshals have started patrolling a rank in Jersey to crackdown on anti-social behaviour during the holiday period.
The scheme is a joint idea by the Safer St Helier initiative and the Taxi Drivers Association.
There will be marshals on duty at the Weighbridge taxi rank in St Helier on Friday and Saturday nights between 2300 and 0400 GMT.
The taxi marshal scheme continues until 29 December.
