Man, 37, in court on gun charges
A local man has appeared in court in Jersey charged with having guns and ammunition without a licence.
John Denny-Mallen from St Martin is facing nine charges dating back to July last year.
These include possessing a Mauser sniper rifle, a Luger hand gun and a Browning 22 pistol without a valid firearms certificate.
The 37-year-old is due to appear in court at the end of the month for a pre-trial hearing.
