Men attacked after music concert

Two men were injured in an "unprovoked" gang attack following a music concert on the Isle of Man.

It happened in Derby Road near Glen Falcon Gardens on Friday night, shortly after the Complete Stone Roses tribute act concert at the Villa Marina.

The men were taken to hospital after being assaulted by three men in their early 20s, said police.

Police want to speak to a man who ran on the stage during the concert and may have information about the attack.

The man, who was escorted off the stage by security guards, is described to be in his early-20s, 5ft 9in (1.6m) tall with collar length dark wavy hair and wore a pale blue coloured long sleeved shirt.

Pc Watterson said: "This was an unprovoked assault that left two males requiring hospital treatment.

"It is vital that these males are identified and dealt with to prevent this type of unacceptable behaviour in our neighbourhood."
