DJ Andy Kershaw has been given a suspended six-month prison sentence after breaching a restraining order banning him contacting his ex-partner.
The former BBC DJ was jailed earlier this year for contacting Juliette Banner, of Peel, in the Isle of Man.
In September an arrest warrant was issued for another breach. Rochdale-born Kershaw, 49, was held by police on Monday when he returned to the island.
The High Bailiff gave Kershaw a six-month sentence suspended for two years.
Anger management
It is on condition he attends anger management, drug and alcohol courses.
In January the DJ was jailed for three months for breaching an order banning him from contacting Ms Banner, the mother of his two children.
Kershaw served 44 days but was arrested again just three days after release.
He subsequently admitted breaching a restraining order and was given a six-month suspended jail term.
Manx High Bailiff Michael Moyle, who sentenced him in March, also advised him at the time to leave the island and live with his mother in Rochdale to help him sort out his personal problems.
A warrant was issued six months later for his arrest after a further breach.
A spokesman for Manx police said: "On Monday a 49-year-old man from Peel was arrested in relation to a breach of a restraining order. He was remanded in police custody overnight.
"On Tuesday 16 December 2008 the same male appeared before the High Bailiffs Court, Douglas and was found guilty of the offence. He received a suspended prison sentence and a supervisory order."
