Man is charged after drugs raid

A man from the Onchan area has been arrested and charged with possession of class A drugs and intent to supply, Isle of Man police said.

A large number of ecstasy tablets with a street value of about £18,000 were recovered from a property in Onchan on Saturday morning.

The 20-year-old man is due to appear in court on Monday.

Sgt Mike Crompton, of Manx police, said officers would continue to tackle those who misused controlled substances.
