Bad weather hits ferry sailings

Viking

Fast craft services between the Isle of Man and Liverpool have been cancelled because of poor weather conditions.

The cancellation affects the Steam Packet's 1500 BST sailing to Liverpool, and the return journey scheduled for a 1900 BST departure on Saturday.

Passengers wishing to travel to the UK are being put on the 1900 BST departure for Heysham.

Foot passengers wishing to travel to Douglas will be transferred to Heysham by coach for the 0215 BST service.
