Nancy star wins Cabaret lead role
Manx teenager Sam Barks who shot to fame as a finalist in the TV talent show "I'd Do Anything" has scooped the top role in a West End touring show.
Sam beat thousands of hopefuls to come third in the BBC Saturday night show to win the role of Nancy in the West End production of Oliver at the end of May.
Now the Laxey youngster is to star opposite dancer Wayne Sleep in Cabaret.
Sam, 17, will take the role of Sally Bowles which was made famous by Liza Minelli in the film version.
