Appeal after exotic fish stolen

A pensioner whose exotic fish were stolen from the garden of her Isle of Man home has appealed for information about the theft.

The three gold-coloured koi carp and 13 large goldfish were taken from her home in Clagh Vane, Ballasalla.

The victim, who does not want to be named, said she found her pond empty and the fish gone.

She said: "They were my pets. Like people have a cat or a dog, well I have my fish."

Anybody with information about the theft should contact Port Erin police.
