One-way plan for TT racing route
The Isle of Man's Mountain Road could be made one way for the whole of this year's TT festival.
The public are expected to be consulted on a proposal to make the Mountain Road one way from Ramsey.
Chief Minister Tony Brown has confirmed a number of government departments are discussing the possibility. Police will also be consulted about the move.
The Isle of Man TT Festival, from 26 May to 8 June, celebrates its centenary this year.
Mr Brown said the detail needed to be examined before a final decision was made.
Considerations include access to the course for marshals and officials, and commuting for workers.
