Representatives from key organisations are meeting to discuss how to keep Guernsey's infrastructure operating if there is a mass outbreak of swine flu.
The emergency planning meeting has been organised by the States' Home Department.
Staff from Guernsey Post, Guernsey Water and Guernsey Electricity are meeting with phone company bosses and members of the business community.
There have been five confirmed cases of swine flu in the Bailiwick so far.
Four cases have been in Guernsey and one in Sark.
