Company scraps Sunday collections
Guernsey Post has confirmed letters will no longer be collected from post boxes on a Sunday.
The service, which was to have been scrapped earlier this year, was given a last-minute reprieve.
But from this weekend, the existing Sunday service will be replaced with a Saturday one.
A new island-wide collection will take place at 1100 on Saturdays. Guernsey Post said the advantage will be UK mail being delivered on a Monday.
