Seasonal car restrictions lifted

Commuters in Guernsey will have more long-term parking spaces in St Peter Port from Monday.

During the summer season there were a number of changes to traffic restrictions around the island.

The speed limit along the Vazon coast road was reduced to 25mph, and several areas became two-hour parking zones.

Those restrictions have now been lifted, meaning parking spaces at La Valette, the South Esplanade and the South Quay now have a 10-hour limit.

The Vazon coast road also returns to a 35mph limit as does the Route De Rocquaine and the Route de La Lague.
