Ferry passenger hunt called off

Channel Islands Air Search An air and sea search has been called off for a man missing from a ferry en route from Portsmouth to St Malo.

The 22-year-old passenger from Erdington, Birmingham, is thought to have fallen overboard from the Brittany Ferries' ship Le Bretagne on Saturday.

Channel Islands Air Search and French authorities called off their hunt south of the Minquiers reef on Sunday.

Hampshire Police said the man, who has not yet been named, was last seen just after midnight on Saturday.
