Plans for island competition law
Preparations are under way to introduce a competition law in Guernsey.
The Commerce and Employment Department has been under pressure to take action to regulate the actions of larger companies in the island.
It follows the controversial takeover of Morrisons supermarket by Channel Island traders last year.
Deputy Graham Guille has led the calls for tougher laws and said he was delighted that measures were being taken on the issue.
