Forensic experts have unearthed the remains of dozens of German soldiers buried in Montenegro's capital during World War II, officials say.
The remains were discovered during construction work a few kilometres from the centre of Podgorica.
Many more soldiers are believed to be buried in the area, German and Montenegrin experts say.
More than 2,100 German soldiers are thought to have died in Montenegro in the Nazi occupation of Yugoslavia.
The remains in Podgorica were identified as German soldiers by metal identity tags found among human bones and personal items, AFP quotes Montenegrin forensic expert Dejan Popovic as saying.
The remains are to be reburied in a cemetery in the former Yugoslav republic.
