Russia has handed over to the Bosnian authorities a Serb war crimes suspect accused of the rape and torture of Muslim women during the early 1990s.
Dragan Zelenovic, a former Bosnian Serb military policeman, was held in Russia last year for using a false passport.
He will be tried at the UN's war crimes court in The Hague, Bosnian Prime Minister Adnan Terzic said.
The Hague court's top prosecutor had accused Moscow of blocking efforts to bring Mr Zelenovic to trial.
Carla Del Ponte complained to the UN Security Council on Wednesday of "long and unexplained delays in the transfer of Zelenovic".
Moscow rejected the charge that it was not co-operating with the Hague.
Mr Terzic confirmed to the AFP news agency that Mr Zelenovic had been extradited from Russia and was being held in detention in Bosnia.
Mr Zelenovic is accused of involvement in atrocities in the town of Foca, south-east of Sarajevo, where Muslim women and girls were sexually abused in prison camps operated by Serb forces.
Russian media said he was arrested in western Siberia, where he had been working on construction sites under an assumed name.
