A French court has sentenced an Algerian man to 10 years in jail in connection with the 1995 Paris Metro bombings which left eight people dead.
Rachid Ramda, 35, was found guilty of criminal association with a terrorist organisation.
He had been charged with providing logistical support to those who carried out the attacks. He faces a possible second trial on murder charges.
He was extradited from the UK in December after a 10-year legal battle.
At the start of his trial in February, Ramda said he was innocent and sympathised with the victims of the attacks on Paris' underground train network.
The bombings were blamed on militants from Algeria's Armed Islamic Group (GIA), who accused France of supporting the Algerian government, which they were fighting at the time.
