Moroccan fishing boat sinks with 16 on board

Naval officials in Spain say a Moroccan fishing boat with sixteen people on board has sunk off the Canary Islands.

A number of other fishing vessels and a helicopter have been searching for survivors, but rescue efforts were suspended for the night.

It's not known what caused the boat , the "Azgani", to go down.
