President Clinton and the Turkish prime minister, Bulent Ecevit, will hold talks in Washington next month.
A United States National Security Council spokesman David Leavy said the meeting, on September the twenty-eighth, will include a discussion of the long-standing dispute between Greece and Turkey, over the island of Cyprus.
The spokesman said resolving Cyprus is a key priority for the Clinton administration.
