First baby for actress Bonnie Langford
Actress Bonnie Langford has given birth to her first child, a girl weighing 7lb 11oz, at a London hospital.
The 36-year-old shot to fame as a child when she starred in the TV series of Just William.
She and her husband, actor Paul Grunert, were said to be "overjoyed" at the birth of their daughter.
Langford plans to return to work next month when she will star in pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk in Nottingham.
Kensit to host radio show
Actress Patsy Kensit has signed to host a show on an internet radio station aimed at young girls, Barbie.fm.
The star, who recently split from Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, said to host her first radio show is "fantastic".
Other presenters on the station, which goes on air at www.barbie.fm from October 24-26, include former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis.
Guests include Ellis's chart-topping singer daughter Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Live episode of The Bill mooted
The makers of The Bill are considering doing a one-off live episode of the ITV police drama.
The move comes in the wake of the successful live episode ofmedical drama ER, which pulled in 18 million viewers in the US in May.
Coronation Street is also airing a live episode to mark its 40th anniversary later this year.
A spokeswoman for The Bill told Ceefax that a live episode was still "an idea" at present.
