Last year's X Factor winner Leon Jackson has tipped Laura White to win this year's singing competition.
Jackson, 19, who is about to release his debut album Right Now, appeared on ITV's This Morning to promote the record where he made his prediction.
"She's pushing the boundaries of The X Factor and she's pushing herself with her song choices," he said.
White, 21, from Manchester, is being mentored by new judge Cheryl Cole in the female category.
'Contemporary'
Jackson, who claimed the Christmas number one last year with When You Believe, said White is "really contemporary".
On Saturday's first live X Factor show, White performed Alicia Keys' hit Fallin'.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Will Young, who won Pop Idol in 2002, will perform on the show on 1 November.
The star will sing his upcoming single Grace.
"I'm really looking forward to appearing on The X Factor, I love the show and watch it weekly," he said.
"I can't wait to meet this year's contestants and sing on The X Factor stage."
Earlier this month he told BBC News he would really like to be part of The X Factor.
"I'd give my right arm to perform on it, actually.
"There's not much choice to perform to a big audience on TV any more," he said.
