Jordan rides out at horse event

Katie Price performs at the Horse of the Year Show

Model Katie Price has given a dressage demonstration at the Horse of the Year Show, proving so popular that she has been drafted into Sunday's finale.

Price, also known as Jordan, entered the ring to the sound of her husband Peter Andre's hit song Mysterious Girl.

"I had such a lovely time," she said after the show at Birmingham's NEC.

In July, Price was turned away from the Cartier International polo event in Windsor, Berkshire. She claimed she was told she was not the type they wanted.

She later argued that she knew more about horses than most of the celebrity guests at the society event.

Price appeared at the Horse of the Year show on her horse, Jordan's Glamour Girl.

"I am delighted to be able to invite Katie back for the finale," said show director Mark Wein.

Price found fame as a glamour model.

She has since published bestselling books, launched merchandise including lingerie, cosmetics and equestrian wear, and appears in the reality TV series Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter.
