Hear'Say singer to marry radio DJ

Former Here'Say singer

Former Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw is to marry her boyfriend of three years, radio DJ Jason King.

The 26-year-old said: "We couldn't be happier about our decision and can't wait to start planning our wedding."

In 2005, Shaw vowed never to marry after her ex-boyfriend, entertainer Darren Day, left her just months after she had given birth to son, Corey.

Former Radio 1 DJ King, of JK and Joel, now presents a weekend show on Virgin Radio and appeared in The Games.

In March, Shaw won the ITV ice skating talent show, Dancing on Ice, despite cracking a rib and chipping an ankle bone during rehearsals.

'Scarred'

Speaking about her relationship earlier this year, she said: "Anyone who has been in a relationship that has been burned will always have that extra barrier up and be scarred."

"Things with Jason are going really, really well, but there are no signs of wedding bells or babies just yet."

Day, 40, is now married to Stephanie Dooley and has a two-year-old daughter called Madison.

Earlier this week he was banned from driving for 18 months after admitting driving over the limit.
