Singer Gwen Stefani and her husband, British rocker Gavin Rossdale, have welcomed the arrival of their second son at a Los Angeles hospital.
Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale was born at 1246 local time on Thursday afternoon, weighing in at 8lb 8oz (3.9kg).
"Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy," publicist Dave Tomberlin said in a statement.
The couple, who married in 2002, already have one son, Kingston, who was born in May 2006.
Rossdale already has a 18-year-old daughter with Pearl Lowe, former frontwoman of 1990s band Powder.
Stefani, 38, rose to fame in the 1990s as lead singer of band No Doubt.
Their album Tragic Kingdom, one of the best-selling of the decade, included the hits Just a Girl and Don't Speak.
Her first solo album, Love Angel Music Baby, was released in 2004, spawning hits including Hollaback Girl.
