Stuart evicted from Big Brother

Stuart Pilkington

Property developer Stuart Pilkington has become the ninth contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

He lost to fellow nominee Rachel Rice on the Channel 4 reality show following Friday's public vote.

The 25-year-old had previously said he would like to leave the show as he was missing his daughter.

Rachel was nominated for eviction by six of her housemates, while Stuart - who survived the boot last week - amassed five nods.

Trainee teacher Rachel, who has been one of the favourites to win the series, was branded "devious" by fellow housemate Lisa Appleton.

Rex Newmark remains the most nominated housemate for eviction to date, with a total of 25 votes across the series.
