Shriver files for Lazenby divorce

George Lazenby and Pam Shriver

Former tennis legend Pam Shriver has filed for divorce from one-time James Bond actor George Lazenby.

Court papers filed in Los Angeles cite irreconcilable differences for the end of the couple's six-year marriage.

The pair, who live in Brentwood, California, got married in 2002 and have three children together.

Shriver, 46, is seeking custody of four-year old George Junior and twins Kate and Sam, aged two, with supervised visits for Lazenby.

In her tennis career, Shriver won 22 Grand Slam doubles titles, 20 with Martina Navratilova.

Since retiring she has worked as a tennis commentator for, amongst others, the BBC and ABC.

Lazenby, 68, is best known for playing James Bond in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

At one point, the Australian actor was the highest-paid male model in the world.
