Caspian magic tops UK box office

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian has bewitched its way to the top of the UK box office taking £4.06m between Friday and Sunday.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe sequel ended a two-week run at the top by The Incredible Hulk, which is now in third place.

Thriller Wanted, starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy, opened in second place with £3.18m.

Adulthood stayed at number four. The new Indiana Jones film fell to five.

The Sex and the City movie fell out of the top five for the first time since it opened, dropping from number three to number six.

Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller's film The Edge of Love, the tale of a love-triangle centred around the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, climbed two places to number seven after opening at number nine last week.

M Night Shyamalan's The Happening fell one place to number eight while spoof comedy Superhero Movie fell three places to number nine in its fourth week of release.

Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, a Hindi film about a high-flying businessman who forms a relationship with four orphans, opened at number 10.
