Spears wants child-friendly home

Britney Spears

Britney Spears is looking for a new home with extra outdoor space for her children to play in and more privacy, court records have revealed.

Documents show the 26-year-old wants a property closer to parks for Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.

The star has stipulated she wants a "less trafficked" home than her current Beverly Hills house, which is constantly stalked by paparazzi.

The sale of Spears' house was requested by her father, who runs her affairs.

The court has agreed to his request, which was made in mid-June, court papers reveal.

James Spears is acting as his daughter's conservator following several incidents of erratic behaviour by the Baby One More Time singer.

The children's father and Spear's former husband Kevin Federline, has full custody of the children.

New album

Meanwhile, Grammy-award-winning producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins has disclosed he is recording new music with Spears for her next album.

Speaking to Rap-Up TV, he said: "I'm trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project. It's about to be her time again."

Despite the star's recent troubles, Jerkins said she was "always professional" in the studio.

He last worked with the singer seven years ago, producing the songs Overprotected (Remix) and I Love Rock 'n' Roll.
