BBC's Children in Need makes £36m
Last year's Children in Need appeal raised a "record-breaking" £36m, Sir Terry Wogan has announced.
"It's the biggest ever amount of money you've given us," the BBC Radio 2 DJ said. "We're grateful and proud of what you've achieved."
Of that total, he told his listeners, £20m had already been allocated to groups helping disadvantaged children.
The Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue and Leona Lewis were among the stars to appear on November's broadcast.
