Actress Kensit calls off wedding

Patsy Kensit

Holby City star Patsy Kensit has ended her engagement to DJ Jeremy Healy, a spokeswoman has confirmed.

"We can confirm that they have split and the decision was mutual," said the British actress's representative.

Kensit, 40, was due to marry Healy, 46, in the summer. It would have been the ex-Emmerdale star's fourth marriage.

The actress was previously married to Dan Donovan of 1980s pop band Big Audio Dynamite, Simple Minds lead singer Jim Kerr and Liam Gallagher of Oasis.

Kensit and Healy first met when she was a teenager and a member of pop group Eighth Wonder.

The couple reportedly began seeing each other last summer after meeting again at a party.

"Jeremy and I are very happy," Kensit was quoted as saying in November, when she was seen sporting a diamond engagement ring.

"I know that he is a genuinely kind and lovely person."

The actress has one son, James, with Kerr and another, Lennon, with Gallagher.
