Ice dance brush off for MacKenzie

Aggie MacKenzie TV presenter Aggie MacKenzie has become the latest celebrity contestant to be voted off ITV1's Dancing on Ice.

The How Clean is Your House? star was ranked in the bottom two after the viewers' vote. The judges unanimously saved former sportsman Steve Backley.

She had scored just 10 points after falling in the middle of dancing to I Feel Pretty from West Side Story.

Actress and singer Suzanne Shaw performed despite a cracked rib. She was strapped up and scored 22 points.

MacKenzie said: "I'm glad it's all over, I don't think my nerves could have taken much more."

Judge Jason Gardiner told her: "In your defence, I feel pity for your song choice. I think the viewers who are keeping you in are sadistic."

The presenter said her favourite aspect of the show was skating with her partner Sergey Malyshev. She is the fourth of the original female contestants to leave the show either through injury or getting voted off.

MacKenzie, Samantha Mumba and Michael Underwood have also suffered skating-related injuries. Underwood had to leave after breaking his ankle.

Former Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain secured his position as bookmakers' favourite after dancing to Time Warp and winning 25 points.
